Description 

The active agent of Biovit is antibiotic of wide activity spectrum chlortetracycline which belongs to the tetracycline antibiotic group. Chlortetracycline is absorbed into the blood, organs and tissues of animals and inhibits the pathogenic organisms. Bacteriostatic mode of action of the antibiotic is inhibition of  protein synthesis in the microbe cell at the ribosomal level. Antibiotic after oral application is gradually absorbed from the gastro-intestinal tract reaching maximum concentration in 4 hours. If the constant dosage of chlortetracycline is added with fodder, its concentration is maintained at the therapeutic level during the treatment period. Biovit prevents and cures the following diseases: pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, bronchopneumonia, gastroenterocolitis (bacterial etiology), colisepticemia, leptospirosis, necrobacillosis and other. Biovit is available in three types: Biovit-80, Biovit-120, Biovit-200.
