It can be applied in swimming pools, ponds, flood water, pastures, gutters, rice fields, salty water, tide water, saline swamps, rain water, mangrove swamps, contaminated water and water with a moderate content of organic matter, in big and small rivers.
- Bacticide is approved for ground and aviation treatments;
- Bacticide is recommended for application in water reservoirs containing aquatic animals, fish, water plants;
- Bacticide can be applied in areas occupied by humans, wild and domestic animals, bees, birds and cattle.
Bacticide efficiency tests, conducted in various ecological-geographical zones – from northern regions to tropical belt – showed very high results. There was gained vast experience of Bacticide application from Siberia to India and Sri Lanka against various mosquito and blackfly larva.
The product is active against 73 species of 12 mosquito genus and not less than 22 blackfly species. The most common genus are: mosquitos Anopheles (malaria), Aedes (yellow fever, Zika virus, west Nile fever, etc.), Culex (northern house mosquito) and others; blackflies – Simuliidae.
Bacticide has selective larvicidal action. It is completely safe for non-target hydrobionts and has an obvious advantage over synthetic larvicides, being environmentally and socially major means of mosquito and blackfly control.
